We are a church that believes in Jesus, a church that loves God and people
We have a strong sense of community with parishioners.
“We welcome visitors at our Church, St. Jude Catholic Community and would love to have you join us for prayer this weekend. If you wish to serve God and people, please check out the ministries that have an immediate need for volunteers.
We invite anyone and everyone to attend our Sunday gatherings to celebrate God in song, scripture and prayer..”
We are putting some things in each weekly bulletin for the kids to do during the week. Just click on the "Kids Corner" picture above and it will show you this weeks page. If you like it, just download it and print it out for the kids.

The group meets every Tuesday at 1:00 PM in conference room 4 at the parish center. Masks and social distancing is required. If you would like to host a Small Christian Community meeting in English or Spanish, please call the parish office.
As we shared earlier due to supply issues beyond our control, we are now producing our church bulletin in house. It takes a team of volunteers to get this done on a weekly basis. We are glad to be receiving many compliments on the new bulletin format. We are needing ads to help offset the costs of the bulletin. We are looking for someone to assist with this project. If you have skills or experience in acquiring advertising and/or designing ads your gifts are needed. Call or email the church office. If you would like to have an ad for your business in the bulletin, please let us know that as well.
We invite you to participate in the Anointing of the Sick Mass which will be celebrated on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:00PM, our next Mass is on June 7th. One may wonder what illnesses are considered serious enough to receive the Anointing of the Sick. Any physical, mental or spiritual problem are reasons to come receive the healing touch of the sacrament of the sick. For more info call the parish office during normal office hours.
Father Raul’s 18th Anniversary of Priestly Ordination – May 29th
“May God bless you and all you have achieved and will continue to achieve. Enjoy your special day with those that are dear to you. Warm and loving congratulations on your 18th anniversary in the priesthood. Thank you for your years of service to God and his people”.
How to congratulate Fr Raul on his Ordination Anniversary: 1- Reach out and shake the hand of a priest celebrating an ordination anniversary. 2- Send a congratulatory card to signal that you consider your priest's ordination to be a cause for recognition. 3- Bring a small gift to the priest's office to commemorate the anniversary. Deliver a cup of coffee, if that is a favorite thing, to the office in the morning. Offer to take your priest out to breakfast or lunch to celebrate the special day. 4- Telephone to express your congratulations on your priest's ordination anniversary. Leave a cheerful message.

Cleaning of the Church
We are in need of volunteers to help on Mondays after the 8AM Mass to clean the church. This is light cleaning, such as vacuuming, dusting and straightening any envelopes in the back of the pews. If you feel called to serve in this ministry, please come to the 8AM Mass on Mondays or call the office at 352-347-0154. We extend our gratitude to the ladies that take the time to clean the church for all of us.
Has God Blessed You with The Gift of Music? If so, please contact the church office. We are always looking for musicians (Guitar, Piano and Organ just to name a few) and choir members for all masses.
Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will meet every third Saturday of the month 10 AM at St Jude Catholic Community.
Find out how, where and when we worship. We hope to see you soon!!
